My wife(Lolit) & I went to Cavite city yesterday afternoon, January 07,2009, to visit a friend just to say hello & have a little chika & also to spend the afternoon together.It's about 15min. before 4pm when we arrived there.When we reached the place we noticed that they are very busy removing the christmas decors that were put in place during the holiday season. These ornaments are being removed one by one including the images & lights. After wiping them clean & rearranging them to their respective boxes, they are then placed inside large plastic containers.These ornaments are to be kept & re-used again next year with some additional new motifs if needed.After a few minutes merienda was served,like pancit mike/bihon from Rosi's restaurant,some hot pandesal,bacons, hams, & queso de bola,with matching drinks, of course they are remnants of the holiday season.While having merienda we talked about a lot of things & soon after my wife & I had to say goodbye to go home.
On our way home just right after the city main gate I noticed the setting sun & it is so beautiful & I excitedly told my wife to hurry & prepare our camera.I pulled over the road & we alternately took these photos. Many times that I've seen this view over here at Cavite Manila blvd. just after Cavite's welcome gate, but luckily for this time I have my camera with me.It's a very tranquil & peaceful view & so the sun sets once again to rise tomorrow to start another fresh new day.
